My name is Irina Makarova. I am an experienced artist based in London with a passion for capturing the beauty of life through my art. I use my skills to help people capture the special moments in their lives. Whether you are looking for a unique gift for a loved one, or you want to add a personal touch to your event, I am here to help.

I work with a variety of techinques and materials. Depending on your preference, we can choose the appropriate technique to catch the essence of your event

I work at live events as well as accept commissions and create works in my studio

Events

I work at all kinds of events: corporate events, weddings, concerts and festivals, sport and fashion events, product launches, lectures and discussions, private celebrations, engagement and birthday parties, Halloween parties, etc.

During the event I observe and sketch your guests or event visitors capturing their moods, movements, environments and special moments. If you want quick life portraits of the guests, I would ask them to pose for 5-7 minutes. Your guests will be able to take the drawings to keep the memory of the event!

Before the event, we will discuss your ideas and agree the details to suit your needs. I will set up my easel on the day of the event and will paint throughout the event. I take photos of you and your guests, so no posing is necessary for anyone.

Step one

Fill in the form below and tell me about your event. You can write to me any questions you have. Please remember to write the date of your event!)

Get in touch

Fill in the brief form

I’ll answer all your questions and send you the brief form to give me a better idea of what you want. After I receive the brief I will send an invoice for you to pay. If you want, we can schedule a short WhatsApp/Zoom meeting so that we can see each other before the event.

Step two

How it works

If you are ready to book, please make an advanced payment of 25% to fix the date. The second instalment of 75% is due no later then three days before the event. In case of commission paintings made in the studio 50% deposit is required before the work starts and the remainder upon completion of the artwork.

Make an advanced payment

I’ll come to your event 40 minutes earlier to get settled. I will sketch or paint (depending on what you need) throughout the event. Whether it's a live painting on canvas or quick sketches on paper, your guests will be able to witness the creation process from scratch.
